Where the pressure is high and the schedule is tight.
BOMS crews have been on site at refineries, power plants, petrochemical facilities, pulp mills, shipyards, nuclear secondary-side work, and boiler manufacturing plants across North America. If it runs hot, high-pressure, or big — we've machined it.
Refineries
Downstream turnarounds and unit outages. Flange facing on exchangers and columns, stud removal on reactor manways, and nozzle prep on new tie-ins — Gulf Coast to inland cracking units. We show up with TWIC and site-specific badging already squared away.
Power Generation
Coal, natural gas, combined cycle, hydro. We handle boiler outage work, turbine mounting surface machining, condenser tube prep, and the last-mile milling that keeps the unit coming back online on time.
Petrochemical
Ethylene, olefins, polymer plants, chemical manufacturing. High-purity bevels, ID matching for flow-critical piping, and exchanger segmentation when one has to come out through a tight door.
Pulp & Paper
Recovery boilers, digesters, bleach plants, rolling mills. We know what a Kraft mill shutdown schedule looks like — and we know you don't get a second chance to hit the restart date.
Shipyards
Commercial and U.S. Navy. Engine room machining, shaft alignment prep, deck equipment mounts, and the odd weld prep job that the yard crew can't tie up a machine shop for. We work around dry-dock schedules.
Boiler Manufacturers
Tube prep, header machining, and on-site support from fab shop to installation site. Boilermakers have trusted BOMS for tube prep that doesn't slow the welders down.
Nuclear (Secondary Side)
Secondary-side support with appropriate certifications and site-specific training. We're not bidding primary side — we're the crew that helps you knock out steam plant and turbine building work during an outage.
We arrive site-ready.
No turnaround coordinator wants to chase down certifications the morning of. BOMS keeps our crew compliant so you don't have to.
TWIC
Current on all field techs. Refinery and port site ready.
OSHA 10/30
All crew OSHA 10 minimum; supervisors OSHA 30.
Site Badging
Confined space, H2S, hot work, fall protection — covered.
JSA & Pre-Job
Every job starts with a written JSA and pre-job walk.
