Every service below is performed in-situ. Your equipment stays where it is — we bring a full portable machine shop to your plant, on your schedule.

Service 01

Flange Facing

When a flange leaks, nothing else matters until it seals. BOMS performs in-situ flange facing so you don't ship the flange off-site and don't drop a nozzle to re-machine a gasket seat.

Our flange facers handle every common gasket configuration — clamp-on, split-frame, or OD/ID-mount — and we carry inserts and spec sheets for every standard flange class from ANSI 150 through 2500.

Service 02

Drilling & Boring

Broken studs. Blown-out thermowells. Gamma plug replacements during a turnaround. Every one of those jobs stops a crew cold — unless you've got a portable boring machine on site with an operator who can dial it in fast.

BOMS brings the rig, the bits, and the experience to put a round, square, tolerance-held hole exactly where you need it — on a vessel wall, in a header, or through a flange.

Service 03

Milling

Pump and motor mounting surfaces, gearbox flanges, seal housings, weld crowns — any flat or profiled surface that's gone out-of-true can be brought back in-place with a portable mill.

We mill rotating equipment mounts, ID and OD profiles, and weld crown removal on large-bore piping and pressure vessels — with documented flatness and parallelism reports on every job.

Milling — BOMS
Service 04

Weld Prep & ID Matching

A good weld starts with a clean, square prep and matched IDs — anything less gives you turbulence, stress risers, and a call-back when the weld fails inspection.

BOMS prepares pipe, fittings, nozzles, and valves for welding with precise bevel geometry (J-bevel, compound bevels, transition preps) and matches internal diameters across joints to keep the flow clean.

Service 05

Boiler Support

Boilermakers don't get second chances on an outage. BOMS runs boiler support for header work, tube replacements, and cutout/prep jobs that have to finish before the next watch starts.

We've cut and prepped headers on utility boilers, recovery boilers, HRSGs, and package steam units — and we know when the schedule is the #1 spec.

Service 06

Vessel & Heat Exchanger Segmentation

When a vessel or exchanger has to come out and it's bigger than the road can handle, it comes out in sections. We section pressure vessels and heat exchangers into shippable pieces — square, clean, burr-free cuts that make re-welding straightforward.

We coordinate with the rigging crew and haul operator so the cuts land exactly where the transport plan needs them.
